COVID-19 Mailing Updates

Please be advised that both UPS and FEDEX have modified their delivery practices in the midst of COVID-19.

Bass-Mollett understands the time sensitivity of many of the packages we ship. We will continue to strive to meet each and every one of our customer's needs. We will continue to offer the same RUSH production times as we always have, in addition to the same EXPRESS delivery services.

During this Pandemic, however, UPS and FEDEX will not guarantee delivery dates/times on ground or express ship methods. In addition, they will make only one (1) delivery attempt in most cases. If the delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to the business not being open (whether due to COVID-19 or simply because it is not during normal business hours) OR no one answering the door, they will not deliver, nor will they leave a package without specific instruction to do so.

TO ENSURE DELIVERY OF YOUR PACKAGE, OUR SUGGESTIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

1) Place a sign on your front door or an area highly visible by the driver indicating you are OPEN for business and ACCEPTING DELIVERIES. We suggest you leave this sign in the door at all times during this time if you are still accepting deliveries.

2) If you are OPEN but your doors are LOCKED and you have a DOORBELL, indicate on the sign that the driver is to ring the doorbell for deliveries.

3) Give specific instructions on the sign stating that if no one is in or no one answers your doorbell, "Please leave Package at ______ door. SIGNATURE RELEASE AUTHORIZED."

One Last Thing:
Please keep in mind that the carrier reserves the right to deliver ground packages from 8am-6pm and prior to 8am on First Overnight Packages.
